THE PRINCIPLES OF
GLOBA FAMILY SUCCOUR
Love and Commitment
The foundation of a good family is love, which should be patient, kind, and enduring. Family members are called to love one another selflessly, putting each other’s needs first. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
Unity and Peace
A good family strives for unity and peace, working together to resolve conflicts and maintain harmony. This involves communication, forgiveness, and understanding. (Ephesians 4:3)
Respect and Honor
Respect and honor are essential in family relationships. Children are called to honor their parents, while parents are instructed to raise their children with love, guidance, and understanding. (Ephesians 6:1-4)
Spiritual Leadership and Growth
Spiritual leadership within the family is crucial. Families should prioritize worship, prayer, and the study of God’s Word, seeking to grow together in their faith (Joshua 24:15)
Forgiveness and Reconciliation
A good family practices forgiveness, letting go of grievances and seeking reconciliation. This ensures that conflicts do not fester and relationships remain healthy and strong. (Colossians 3:13)
Faith and Trust in God
A good family places their faith and trust in God, seeking His guidance in all aspects of life. This reliance on God provides stability and direction for the family. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Joy and Celebration
A good family finds joy in each other, celebrating life’s blessings together. They take time to enjoy one another, creating lasting memories and a positive family environment. (Ecclesiastes 3:12-13)
