The Family Support Program offers comprehensive counseling to strengthen families
through Pre-Marital Counseling, Family Therapy, Youth Counseling and Parenting. The
program also emphasizes healing and reconciliation, guiding families through conflict
resolution and emotional restoration.
The Family Support Program of GFS integrates comprehensive care with a foundation in biblical values, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals to uplift and stabilize families in challenging times. Addressing SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), the program offers mental health counseling and healing services that encourage families to find peace and resilience in God’s love, reflecting Matthew 11:28: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
By meeting SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), the program provides emergency aid to families facing food insecurity, embodying Christ’s compassion and ensuring families in crisis receive the nourishment they need to thrive, in keeping with Matthew 25:35: "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat."
Further, in support of SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), the program fosters peaceful family relationships and reconciliation, guided by the biblical call to forgiveness in Colossians 3:13: "Bear with each other and forgive one another... Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Through these holistic and faith-driven efforts, the program fulfills God's purpose of strengthening families, equipping them to overcome adversity with unity, peace, and hope.
Through community-driven initiatives, GFS seeks to foster environments where individuals and families can grow together, rooted in the biblical principle of Jeremiah 29:7 (“Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you…”), emphasizing the importance of collective progress and the fulfillment of God’s purpose for sustainable and fruitful endeavors.
