What we do

Educational Program

The Educational Program is dedicated to supporting individuals who have faced educational setbacks or have dropped out of school.

The Educational Program by GFS is committed to creating inclusive, high-quality learning opportunities for all, especially those who have experienced educational setbacks due to conflict, in alignment with SDG 4 (Quality Education). By providing access to education, the program helps individuals regain hope and purpose, equipping them with knowledge and skills essential for personal growth and community rebuilding. In alignment with Proverbs 22:6 ("Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"), this program emphasizes the enduring value of education as a lifelong gift, empowering youth to grow, transform, and uplift their communities in alignment with God’s vision for their lives.

Additionally, addressing SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), it ensures displaced children have equal access to education, bridging gaps and reducing disparities that might otherwise limit their future opportunities. Through education, the program builds resilience in youth by equipping them with essential skills and knowledge, empowering them to become leaders who can positively impact their communities. Jeremiah 29:11 ("For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope") reflects this mission, supporting God’s purpose for each individual to thrive and contribute to a better world.
